1. What are the controls to your game? How do we play?
There are no controls. The cubes go flying and whatnot as a result of some physics stuff that makes things happen. It's pretty baller.
2. What creative additions did you make? How can we find them?
The cubes produce trails, and while you can't see it happening, the cubes are also set to self-destroy after 2 seconds to save on memory; This is done using TheKillYourselfScript which I will elaborate on in the question below.
3. Any assets used that you didn't create yourself?
I technically didn't create TheKillYourselfScript. I don't know for sure where I got the original code from, but I am 99% sure it came from a script I got in my first year at MSU when I was in either CAS 116 or CAS 117. It was probably from the 2D space shooter game project but I'm not entirely sure because it's been like 3 years since I did that. What's important is that I took the code from a different script, cut out all the stuff I didn't need, then threw it into this project. It's like 15 lines of code though so I don't really know how much it's originality matters at this point.
4. Did you receive help from anyone outside this class?
I did not recieve help from anyone outside of class.
5. Did you get help from any AI Code Assistants?
I don't like AI, nor do I care about how useful people keep telling me it is. AI is lame and dumb and I will die on this hill.
6. Did you get help from any online websites, videos, or tutorials?
I didn't get any help.
7. What trouble did you have with this project?
I had a lot of trouble getting the project over to GitLab/GitHub Desktop. This is because I did the process wrong during the initial demonstration in class as a result of me getting a new computer the day before and having to reinstall everything I'd need for class that day while also trying to install the new stuff for this class and follow along with the in class demo. There's a lot more to what I was trying to do with my new laptop, but it's entierly to complicated and way too long to explain here so I'm just gonna not. The project itself was easy though. I got it done in like 30 minutes.
8. Is there anything else we should know?
While I was trying to figure out what I did wrong with getting my full project to commit to main, I made a bunch of commits that had some of the files on them. I now know that my problem was that I was trying to get my FULL project to commit to main.
